Make this easy, no-bake Oreo pie for a creamy and decadent dessert. It features a crunchy chocolate cookie crust and a light, fluffy cookies and cream filling. This recipe requires minimal prep time and no oven.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (14.3 ounces) Oreo cookies, crushed into fine crumbs
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 container (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed (like Cool Whip)
  • 1 package (3.4 ounces) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies, for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: Combine the finely crushed Oreo crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate. Place the crust in the freezer while you prepare the filling.
  2. Make the cream cheese layer: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold in the whipped topping: Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture until just combined. Spread this mixture evenly over the chilled Oreo crust.
  4. Prepare the pudding layer: In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for about two minutes, until the mixture begins to thicken.
  5. Assemble the pie: Pour the thickened chocolate pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Chill: Cover the pie loosely with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the filling is firm. For best results, chill overnight.
  7. Serve: Before serving, sprinkle the reserved crushed Oreo cookies over the top of the pie. Slice and serve this chilled Oreo dessert immediately.

Notes

  • You can use a food processor to crush the Oreo cookies quickly for the crust and topping.
  • If you want a richer chocolate flavor, substitute the instant chocolate pudding with a chocolate mousse mix.
  • This recipe is a great make ahead pie; it holds well in the refrigerator for up to three days.
