Create this crowd-pleasing, no-bake Bruschetta Dip featuring fresh tomatoes, basil, and a rich, creamy cheese base. It is a simple Italian appetizer perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces Boursin cheese (or other herbed cheese), softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups cherry or Roma tomatoes, diced small
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze (for drizzling)
  • Baguette slices, crackers, or pita chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Boursin cheese, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until the base is smooth and fully combined.
  2. Gently fold in the diced tomatoes and chopped fresh basil into the cheese mixture. Do not overmix; you want the tomato pieces to remain visible.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a serving dish.
  4. Cover the dish and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. This step makes it a great make-ahead dip.
  5. Before serving, drizzle the top evenly with balsamic glaze.
  6. Serve your homemade Bruschetta Dip with toasted baguette slices, crackers, or pita chips for dipping.

Notes

  • For a hot bruschetta dip variation, mix the cheese base and spread it in an oven-safe dish. Top with tomatoes and basil, then bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until warm and bubbly.
  • If you do not have Boursin, use an additional 4 ounces of cream cheese mixed with 1 teaspoon of dried Italian seasoning.
  • You can prepare the tomato and basil topping mixture up to 4 hours ahead of time and keep it separate from the cheese base until ready to assemble.
